Huawei comes back with a new mid-range phone! The latest Huawei Nova 9 SE is an entry-level smartphone. It has a huge 6.78-inch TFT FHD LCD that has punch holes. It is the very first Huawei smartphone that has a 108MP main camera.

What makes this phone different? Let’s discover.

Design And Stylish Looks

So let’s start with the style of Huawei 9 SE. The phone has a glossy reflective back and a glassy front. It makes this phone extremely light in hand despite its dimensions. The front and back have fingerprint smudge magnets, and both are slippery. However, it has curved edges, making it more comfortable to hand. We can say the Set will last for quite a while if used with proper care.

Since its SIM tray is covered with a red rubber gasket, it looks like the phone might be equipped with a type of dust and water resistance.

At first look, the phone appears like the original nova 8 with more polished edges.

Known For Its Camera Results

The huawei mobile nova 9 se is equipped with four cameras. 108MP f/1.9 main camera with 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera, 2MP f/2.4 depth camera, and a 2MP f/2.4 macro camera with an LED flash.

However, its default setting is 12MP because of its 9-in-1 pixel fusion technology to produce better pictures. It makes 2.1mm huge images. It is an excellent feature because the Snapdragon 680 chip can only support cameras with up to 64MP. However, there is no mode of 108MP.

Beautiful Display

FullView LCD touch display measures 6.78-inches and is designed to be quite versatile with regards to its mission-related profile, with the FHD+ resolution as well as a rapid 90Hz refresh, a quick touchscreen sampling rate of 270Hz, and a d-compliant display to the P3 color gamut with the claimed ability to reproduce more than 16.7 million colors, however, Huawei didn’t provide the percent of conformance with the P3 color gamut.

What it means is a highly accurate and dynamic display that lends itself to gaming and entertainment. A nice bonus is that Huawei has already installed the display protector.

Charging and Battery

Inside the phone lies a massive 4000mAh battery that is rapid charging through USB-C. When we ran our standard PCMark battery testing, the device was able to last for fifteen hours, 49 mins. This score for a mere 4,000mAh is quite impressive.

When we were using it in our everyday usage where we use our phone for our daily driving, it lasted for seven hours on average of screen time following an intense 8-hour working day. It is not surprising considering that we have 15% battery remaining even when the phone is connected to LTE and WiFi for the entire day.

It takes less than 45 minutes to be charged from zero to 100 percent using a 66W power charger. It is among the fastest charging speeds for its price. It’s not the fastest, but it’s quick enough to fill up enough to let the battery last longer.

The software runs the latest EMUI 12. It comes with HMS as well as Huawei AppGallery. The OS itself is quick and responsive. There is virtually no slowness when using the OS, switching between applications, or using it as a Phone.

Its Huawei nova 9 SE has the lightest body made of durable materials and an attractive design. Combining a 4,000mAh battery and a 66W one will ensure that the battery will last for more than a full day and is super-fast in charging. The phone’s performance is more efficient than other phones with similar specifications. The cooling system of Graphene is also effective. In short, It’s worth buying a phone.
