So the best months to go on a bike trip will be from the middle of May to September. Some routes are open and might be closed so this is the best timeline to go on the bike trip.

Srinagar — Leh road

Manali — Leh road

If you’re more of a thrill seeker then you can choose the Manali – Leh highway. It also has better views while travelling.

But if you’re travelling with someone and want to decrease the risk then Srinagar – Leh highway is the better choice.

This is one of those intense trips that can take a toll on your body. So before leaving for the trip get a full body check up done. People with morbidities like high BP or asthma should not go on this trip.

Always carry some extra food along with you. You can’t always rely on street vendors.

Carry a medical kit with you because mountain sickness is very common when you’re at such high altitudes and you don’t wanna get sick during that time. Make sure it’s packed with some anti infection cream, medicine for headaches and stomach aches. Some bandaids and cotton balls.
